Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub is an American comedian, actress, and activist. She was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents and started her acting career as a child soon after her move to the United States. The appearances she made as Lily Adams in AT&T TV commercials from 2013 to 2016 - and now in 2020 - have made her famous. In addition to commercial appearances, she also appeared as an actor in the series on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She was also regularly featured on the NBC drama This Is Us 2016-2017. Vayntrub has also voiced Squirrel Girl in the Marvel Rising franchise since 2018 after she was chosen to voice Squirrel Girl in the unaired TV pilot of New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish born in Tashkent in the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents and her were exiled from antisemitism as young as just two years old. They moved to the U.S. with their children. She started acting in Mattel Barbie commercials at the age of five because of the financial difficulties of her family. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School, however, she quit after her sophomore year, earned an GED and then went on to earn an Associate of Arts in Communication from University of California, San Diego. She was a member of improv comedy group the Upright Citizens Brigade.
