Emily Bett Rickards (born July 24 in 1992) is a Canadian actress. She was the character Felicity as Felicity in The CW Television Series Arrow. Rickards, who was raised within British Columbia, is Canadian. For the purpose of launching her career, Rickards began by dancing and musical theater, in the hopes of eventually introducing more formal acting. Her path in career development began at an early age as she finished high school, and then attended the Vancouver Film School. There she was enrolled in the Acting Essentials Course. Following the completion of the course, she took part in an open-call audition which led her to a booking agent. She was a student at The Alida Vocal Studio in Vancouver.
