DreamWasTaken, the pseudonym used by American player Clay on YouTube for Minecraft videos is a wonderful instance of this. Dream was an avid gamer in his early years and launched his own YouTube channel to share his games and comments. He also collaborates with gamers BadBoyHalo and GeorgeNotFound. George and Dream are thought to be in a relationship. Dream however, who hasn't disclosed who he is yet, makes use of his gamer avatar to all of his online activities. DreamWasTaken's career in social media began by playing games. He is primarily responsible for Minecraft video playthroughs, as well as commentaries on YouTube and other platforms.
