Karan Patel completed his schooling from Utpal Shanghvi School in Mumbai and later graduated from Mithibai College. He started his career as a model and later moved to acting. Karan's first role was in the television show "Kasturi" where he played the role of Robby Sabarwal. He then appeared in several other shows, including "Kasamh Se" and "Dill Mill Gayye".

Karan's breakthrough role came when he played the role of Ankush Patel in the television show "Sanjivani".
